They’re not the highest of specs, but they are making a case for price and, more importantly, performance

I-Life Digital Technologies prides itself as a maker of nice PCs at prices that will raise your eyebrows not because they’re expensive, but because they’re quite the opposite, with a really thin laptop.
You may not have heard of i-Life, but it is counted amongst the fastest growing PC companies in the Middle East and Africa. The company was first established in 2012 and has now has set its sights on the Pakistani market. The first product in their roster is the i-Life ZedAir — a lightweight laptop with a very budget-friendly price.
We were immediately impressed with the way the ZedAir looks. It looks almost exactly like the Apple MacBook Air: the same silver colour, the way the design tapers from back to front and even the placement of USB ports. But it obviously doesn’t ‘feel’ the same. The Macbook Air is all aluminum while ZedAir is all plastic. Complaints of a rip-off design aside, it does not look or feel cheap. Thanks to the excessive use of plastic, it weighs just 1.36kg. The design makes it easy to carry around and the compact charger (it’s like a phone charger) adds to the overall portability.
I-Life Digital Technology today unveiled its newest consumer laptop from the ZED family, the ZED AIR in Pakistan Targeted at first time PC buyers, the new laptop is designed for functionality.
The ZED AIR is available with 32GB /64GB eMMC configurations. Specifications may vary depending on region and model.
Product available with selected retailers across Pakistan
